HD is a 19 year-old Hip-Hop artist from Brooklyn, NY. He madehis start in Hip-Hop at the young age of 9, by borrowing his brother's CDs. At age 12, HD been dope and his friends started a Hip-Hop group that would later record freestyles on cassette tapes. At the age of 14, HDbeen dope began music producing where he was given the name Hitmaker D, due to the 'hits' he was making.
At 16, HD released his first mixtape Backpack Rap, a compilation of verses over popular beats at the time. When he turned 17 he released his first official mixtape, 'Since 94', which set off his introduction to the world with videos like 'Wordplay', and 'Put It On'.

One year later, in 2013, HD released his latest project, 'Stepping Into Tomorrow', showcasing his incredible lyrical and song making ability. Positive feedback has allowed the opportunity to open for major artists like Sean Price, perform on the Warp Tour in Boston and more.

He has since gained the respect of premiere venues like SOBs, who have welcomed him to perform again and again. While his popularity is growing globally, HD been dope plans to release another project in the summer of 2014, which will show his progression as an artist and push his career to the next level.
